Donald Driver Rewards Lucky Delafield Elementary Students Who Won Goodwill Contest

Students at Cushing Elementary in Delafield knew if they won a donation challenge put on by Goodwill Industries, Packers great Donald Driver would pay them a visit to congratulate them for winning.  And if fact, this is what happened on Thursday.  They ended up coming in first in Goodwill's \"Pack'er Up\" Donation Challenge. They competed against hundreds of other schools, collecting more than 61 thousand items and donating them.

Goodwill sees this annual event as a way for the non profit to publicize its commitment to the environment through reusing, reducing, and recycling. And having a sports icon like Driver as a spokesperson doesn't hurt either considering all he represents. His message is don't stop dreaming and realize you can do anything you wish, regardless of setbacks.

Other local schools ranked pretty high in the competition with second place going to Holy Angels Grade School in West Bend.  Third place went to Whittier Elementary in Pleasant Prairie.
