Dog with serious burns recovering at Wisconsin Humane Society, shelter asking for donations

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society is asking for help caring for a dog brought in with serious burns on her back.

The two-year-old dog, being called "Annette," was found by a Good Samaritan back in November and brought to the Racine campus where she's been receiving treatment.

The veterinary staff believes the burns were caused by a hot liquid, but don't know who is responsible.

The Wisconsin Humane Society is asking for donations to help support her medical treatment. To learn more or to make a donation, visit wihumane.org or call 414-431-6119.
