Do you recognize these men? Attempted armed robbery caught on tape.

Milwaukee Police ask for the public's help in finding two men who tried to rob a check cashing store at 6069 Teutonia Avenue.


The men entered the store waving guns and demanding money at around 12:30 pm, Saturday, March 1st. Customers were told to lay on the floor. Bullet proof cashier windows ultimately kept the men from grabbing any cash, but police are still looking for the attempted robbers.


Suspect #1 is described as a black male, between 20-27 years-old, light-skinned, 5’9”-6’ tall, and a thinner build. He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt over a darker hooded sweatshirt. The hood was up and a darker hat or mask was pulled over his face. He also had on dark jeans and had a black backpack slung over his shoulder.


Suspect #2 is described as a black male, between 20-27 years-old, 5’8”-6’ tall, with a medium build and light-brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt with the word “WISCONSIN” across the chest in white letters, light gray sweatpants, and white shoes. He also had a black half mask from the chin to his eyes over his face.
