MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin DNR is sending a warning about scams targeting people buying hunting or fishing licenses online.
The department says it's aware of at least two websites appearing to sell licenses. After paying a fee, people didn't get their license, they only got information on how to apply for one.
The websites are also collecting personal information.
The DNR says people should buy licenses from a DNR Service Center or authorized locations like a sporting goods store or a bait shop.
