MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local 8th-grade boys basketball team won the national tournament this weekend and on Monday, they received a champion's welcome home.
Divine Redeemer Lutheran School 8th grade team finished their season undefeated.
After winning the state competition, they went to the 2018 Lutheran Basketball National Tournament of Champions and took first in the nation.
That tournament feature 32 Lutheran schools from across the country.
