(MILWAUKEE) – The man behind the bar at Twisted Path Distillery in Bay View has fascinating stories to tell, if he were allowed to share them. Brian Sammons opened his business in 2015, and recently unveiled a new Chai Liquor made entirely on premises. But his secrets extend far beyond any special ingredients, but rather the twisted path that brought him back to his hometown in Milwaukee in the first place. That’s because the UW-Milwaukee graduate spent much of his adult life in the clandestine services, including work for the Central Intelligence Agency.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger visited the Bay View distillery over a glass of spirits to learn more.
