A dispute between two people resulted in the shooting and wounding of a young Milwaukee woman Monday.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the 21-year-old woman said she became involved in a dispute when the suspect pulled a weapon and shot the woman.  The incident happened around 6 PM in the area of N Sherman Boulevard and W Hope Avenue.  The woman was taken to a local hospital by a friend for treatment of the non-fatal wound and is expected to survive her injury.    The MPD is continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
