KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A post is going viral on Facebook and TikTok, where a Wisconsin woman says her driver's license was damaged and defaced by a salesman at a car dealership in Kenosha.

The post includes a video many are calling disturbing.

So far, it's been shared more than 4,000 times on Facebook.

The writer of the post said the video shows an employee at NH Auto Sales in Kenosha breaking her ID, and urinating on it.

The woman's post says she went to the dealership to look at a car and chose not to buy it.

She said she drove home to Waukesha and accidentally left her ID at the shop.

A few hours later, someone messaged the woman on Instagram, warning her of the disturbing Snapchat video.

They sent her the video, which went viral on Sunday on social media.

Kenosha police are investigating and told CBS 58 they want to pursue charges.

Meanwhile, a different nearby car dealership is reaching out to help after they became involved.

Joe Greene owns Budget Motors of Wisconsin in Caledonia.

After the post went viral, he said NH Auto Sales changed their name on Google, which caused Budget Motors to get a slew of bad reviews from people mistaking the dealerships.

On Monday, Greene posted on Facebook to clarify the mix-up, and offer the woman a free car from his dealership.

"On my way to work, I was like, I need to find a way to turn this into a positive for her, for us, for everybody," Greene said.

Greene hopes this shows there are good people in the used car industry, and in the community.

"Hopefully this makes up for it. Hopefully everything turns out okay, and hopefully things die down, and there's a little justice involved there," Greene said.

The Kenosha Police Department said the accused business has received threats, which KPD will not tolerate.

CBS 58 reached out to the woman involved, and to NH Auto Sales. There has not been a response.
