MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The area's smallest public ice rink reopened Friday morning, Jan. 19.
The Dinky Rink is outside the Milwaukee Public Market.
Skating is free, and 90-minute timeslots will be available by reservation only, so be sure to plan ahead.
"It's something that can get people out of their homes, generate some buzz around the city. Get families out here to enjoy inclement weather and you're getting a little stir crazy in your house -- it gives you something to do," said Bryan Babler, facility manager at the Dinky Rink.
Milwaukee Admirals mascot Roscoe did the ceremonial first skate.
