Diner en Blanc returns to Milwaukee for second year with Paris-themed evening
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Diner en Blanc is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee on Saturday, Aug. 15 with this year's theme centered on Paris' Belle Époque era, according to organizers.
Gaulien Smith, the event's host, and Vivian King, publicity chair, joined us Tuesday, July 21 to preview the evening. As with the inaugural event, the location will remain secret until attendees are escorted there from designated departure points.
Attendees are required to wear all-white and bring a table, two white chairs, a white tablecloth and napkins, along with a picnic meal served on white dinnerware, though tables and chairs are available at some departure points and meals can be pre-ordered through the event's website.
Only wine and Champagne are served, and outside alcohol is not permitted under Wisconsin law.
