Getting your attention is the idea behind 'Diabetes Alert Day' which is today as declared by The American Diabetes Association.
Lisa Shah, an endocrinologist with Aurora Health Care stopped by the studio today to talk about what Diabetes Alert Day is all about.
Shah discussed what the risk factors are for type two diabetes, what the symptoms are, how to manage diabetes, and more.
