Detroit Lions Player Posts to Instagram Concerns over NFL's Handling of Brain-Related Injuries

Detroit Lions linebacker Deandre Levy has posted on Instagram his concerns over the NFL and lack of transparency with how the league has handled brain-related injuries, according to the Free Press.

The Free Press asked Levy why he continues to play football. Levy responded in an email to the Detroit Free Press.

Levy was sidelined most of last season because of a hip injury.

The email included, "I think we, as players, have to acknowledge it and talk about it in a real way and demand answers." Read the full email here.
