The sheriff's office is out with a photo of a jimmy rigged, albeit inactive, grenade seized from some carry on luggage recently at Mitchell International Airport.
The seizure delayed security screening for a number of passengers.
The sheriff's office wants to get the word out that passengers need to check what's banned before trying to board a flight.
Even though the grenade was an elaborate decoration of some sort, replicas are still banned.
