Defense Attorney: Shots Fired Suspect at Potawatomi Casino Not Fit to Stand Trial

Attorneys for the man accused of opening fire inside Potawatomi Casino say he's not fit to stand trial.

On Wednesday, a judge found probable cause and ordered Terrill Thomas to undergo a mental exam.

He'll be back in court next month with the results and for a preliminary hearing.

According to the criminal complaint, the defendant allegedly told police that he and two women went to Potawatomi Casino. He said he walked into the high roller area and said the casino changed and that there were “a whole lot of snakes in the casino.”
