Death investigation underway in Fond du Lac after crews respond for 2-month-old baby choking

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A baby death is currently under investigation in Fond du Lac.
Rescue crews were called out to a home on E. Merrill Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday for a report of a 2-month-old infant that was choking.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the baby was not breathing and attempted CPR life-saving measures.
The baby was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
