(MILWAUKEE) - This time of year, among the grey skies and filthy piles of snow the city’s colorful and plentiful murals truly stand out. None are more well-known than the bright Mural of Peace found on the south side’s Esperanza Unida building on National Avenue. The mural is among the many works by renowned Milwaukee muralist Reynaldo Hernandez.
Now, Hernandez’s daughter is following in his footsteps. Rozalia Singh-Hernandez is an up-and-coming local artist turning heads with her growing body of work, including several murals inside the COA Youth & Family’s Riverwest location.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning Amanda Porterfield meets the daughter of a famous Milwaukee muralist who's building on her family's legacy of art.
