12-year-old fatally shot near 73rd and Fairmount
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Dash cam video has now been released of the incident where a reckless driver led officers on a pursuit before crashing near 8th and Locust.
The police chase started in Bayside and ended with a fiery crash in Milwaukee last week.
Dash cam video has now been released that shows the dramatic end to that chase, right after the reckless driving suspect took the Locust Street ramp from I-43.
"Traffic is medium, he's got a green light...Oh he, oh he just crashed," The Glendale Police officer who had picked up the chase can be heard saying in the video.
As the squad gets closer, the video shows flames coming from the car and the suspect running across the street and into a nearby yard.
The suspect is then shown climbing over a fence and out of view of the camera. That man was arrested shortly after.
He's a 30-year-old from Greenfield who faces charges that include Hit and Run and OWI.
