Criminal complaint: Hubertus man admits to stealing $50,000 from Holy Hill

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 75-year-old man from Hubertus is charged with stealing tens of thousands of dollars of donation money from Holy Hill.
According to a criminal complaint, a priest at the church saw Pierre Valodine stealing money from the collection room.
Washington County detectives set up a hidden camera which captured the thefts.
Valodine admitted to stealing $50,000, but the church estimates up to $135,000 could have been taken.
Valodine told deputies he needed the money to pay bills.
