KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Illinois State Police say a pedestrian stopped on Interstate 41 near the Wisconsin-Illinois border and stepped in front of oncoming traffic.
Police could not confirm if the incident was a suicide attempt or not. The victim was seriously hurt but is alive.
The highway was reopened.

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The southbound lanes of I-41 near the Wisconsin-Illinois border closed for about an hour due to a serious crash.
It happened just after 9:00 Tuesday night. All lanes reopened around 10:15.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says Illinois State Patrol is handling the investigation. CBS 58 is working to learn whether anyone was hurt and what caused the crash.
