UPDATE: GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A car hit a pole and flipped in a busy shopping area in Greenfield Friday morning, knocking out power to nearby businesses during the peak of Black Friday shopping.
WE Energies says they got the call around 10:30. The car hit the pole at 76th and Layton and flipped onto its roof. The power was knocked out for about 750 customers in the area which includes a Best Buy and Barnes and Noble.
Power was restored by about noon, but the cleanup took several hours. There is no word yet on whether anyone was hurt in the crash.

GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – A crash has knocked out power to a busy shopping area after a car hit a pole at 76th and Layton in Greenfield.
The crash happened around 10:30 Friday morning.
Robert Haack Diamonds confirmed to CBS 58 they are without power. Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, and Petco stores are also in the area.
According to WE Energies’ website, there are about 750 customers without power in the area because of the crash. They are making sure the area is safe and then will begin making repairs and working on restoring power.
