Crash involving school bus under investigation on Milwaukee’s north side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police responded to a crash involving a school bus and passenger vehicle that took place near the corner of 20th Galena. The crash took place Wednesday, April 30 at around 6:25 a.m.
According to police, a car failed to stop at a posted sign and struck a school bus. Following the initial collision, the bus continued moving and crashed into a nearby building. The bus was occupied by a driver and three children.
No hospital transport was required for anyone on board.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old, was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Police said there will be no charges. However, the driver of the vehicle was issued citations.
