Crash in Racine ends with a fatality

Wisconsin State Patrol found an individual dead in a ditch Sunday night, after pulling over to check on two vehicles that were on the shoulder of I-94 westbound north of Braun Rd in Racine County. 

The trooper who discovered the body tried to resisitate the victim but was unable to.

Officials suspect the victim pulled over because of a flat tire and was hit by a passing vehicle.

The two right lanes were shutdown for two hours and fifteen minutes while the scene was investigated.

State patrol is working on the case.
