Cows loose from Vincent High School safely returned

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two cows escaped from Vincent High School's agriculture class Friday afternoon. The cows were reported loose around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon and had wandered into a neighbor's backyard.

A tweet from Milwaukee Public Schools said that the cows named Daisy and Violet were safe and sound by 4:45 p.m. MPS said it was a "moo-ving experience for everyone involved."

Milwaukee Police, DNR and a trucking company helped get the girls back into their pens. Police said they were "udderly delighted to serve and protect."
