MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee Brewers' Opening Day is less than one week away, and you'll want to bring your appetite to American Family Field.

The stadium is welcoming several new culinary offerings for the 2026 baseball season.

"We've always tried to elevate it. What can we do new, what can we do different, what can make the experience for the fan a better one?" said Tom Hecht, VP of consumer experience for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Hecht believes food is essential to the baseball experience.

"Take me out to the ballgame, bring me some peanuts and cracker jacks, I mean, it's always been a part of our game,” he explained.

This year, a new barbecue truck joins American Family Field, and the new Fair Food station has your fried fix.

The chefs want to create unique snacks that have a baseball stadium twist, like nachos on a stick -- a revamped idea they tried 12 years ago.

“We had it in 2014, and fans reached out to us and said, when will you bring that back?" Hecht explained. “That really led to us to doing the Fair Food, like, what other foods can we put on a stick?"

New in the 3rd Street Market Hall annex: Bebe Zito’s award-winning ice cream, chicken, and dirty soda.

"We're like sugar addicts that also just love great food,” said co-owner Gabriella Grant.

Joining them is DRIP Chocolate, bringing the Dubai chocolate craze to the stadium with cheesecakes, strawberry cups and cold brews.

"I think everyone just wants it right now, it's something that people are looking for,” DRIP co-owner Greg Kieckbush said.

Those are just a few of the new items being sold this year.

Variety always wins; the Brewers are covering all the bases.

"There's 81 games, and lots of chances to try everything here,” Hecht said.
