Cousins Subs Launches Mobile Sub Shop

Cousins Subs is hitting the streets with a mobilized version of its Midwestern sub shop.

Bringing a modern, industrial look to the street food scene, the Traveling Sub Shop serves up select Cousins deli-fresh classics and grilled to order chicken and steak sub sandwiches—each topped with freshly sliced meats, cheeses and veggies. Guests can also enjoy Cousins made to order fries and Wisconsin Cheese Curds.

“Our Traveling Sub Shop allows us to bring the same quality sub sandwiches Cousins has been known for since 1972 to more people and places year-round,” said Justin McCoy, vp of marketing at Cousins Subs. “What sets the Traveling Sub Shop apart is that every sub sandwich is served on Cousins Better Bread baked fresh on the truck daily and our cheese steaks are served hot off the flat top grill—a freshness guests will taste.”

As part of the Traveling Sub Shop’s debut, Cousins held a fundraising event on December 2 in which 100 percent of proceeds went to the company’s Make It Better Foundation. A total of $1,158 was donated to the nonprofit charitable organization that Cousins established in 2013 to provide support in three areas: youth education, hunger and health & wellness. Donations to the Make It Better Foundation directly fund local nonprofit programs.
