WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A well-known sandwich company is making sure local families have toys for their children this Christmas while they stay in the hospital.
Cousins Subs donated 100 toys Friday, Dec. 18, to the Ronald McDonald House in Wauwatosa.
The company hosted a previous toy drive through its corporate headquarters to collect unwrapped holiday gifts to distribute to families in need.
"The donations from community supporters like Cousins Subs are what allow us to keep this house running," said Melissa Marney, director of marketing and events at the Ronald McDonald House. "We have not closed the entire time through the COVID pandemic, and families have needed our services all throughout."
Cousins Subs also brought in prepackaged lunches for families to enjoy through the weekend.
