Most of Wisconsin has been missing out on big winter storms lately. We saw one south of us last Sunday and Monday from Missouri into DC. Now another is getting ready to impact Texas to North Carolina. Locally, we will see some minor impacts for the storm down south as it interacts with another area of low pressure in Canada. The combination will bring us a chance for some light snow on Friday. The best chance for some accumulating snow looks like Friday morning with a few isolated snow showers lingering into the afternoon.
Any accumulating snow for Friday looks fairly light with under an inch expected for everyone. Highest totals might be in our southeast communities like Racine and Kenosha where up to 1" is possible. Otherwise, most of southeast Wisconsin gets around a half inch and some spots might escape with just a few flurries or a dusting of snow.
After Friday's snow we dry out for Saturday but Sunday has another chance for snow. Sunday's snow chance actually looks likely but relatively light. Might be more snow than Friday, but not a major storm right now. Still, something to be aware of if you're traveling somewhere to watch the Packers game Sunday afternoon.
