County employee arrested for misconduct in public office

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County Director of Risk Management Dennis Dietscher has been arrested for misconduct in public office.

The Milwaukee County Executive's Office says this arrest is the result of the County Executive Chris Abele and Administration Services Director Don Tyler bringing unrelated concerns to the district attorney's office.

\"I never have and never will shy away from continuing to try to clean up Milwaukee County government,\" says County Executive Abele.

Dietscher has been employed by Milwaukee County for 27 years, and is currently suspended.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office says no charging decision will be made on this case before February 24th. Dietscher was released from county custody on February 20th.
