Congressman Paul Ryan grills IRS commissioner during heated exchange

WASHINGTON D.C. -- U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan grills IRS Commissioner John Koskinen after learning Lois Lerner's e-mails had gone missing. Lerner was in charge of the I.R.S. division who allegedly targeted conservative groups.

Congressman Ryan is part of a committee that's looking into how more than two years of Lois Lerner's e-mails disappeared. Lerner ran the I.R.S. division in charge of tax exempt status. That division has been under fire for targeting the tea party and other political groups.

In June, the I.R.S. notified congress Lerner's e-mails were erased when a hard drive crashed in 2011. The I.R.S. told the committee the agency also lose e-mails belonging to six other I.R. S. employees. Congressman Ryan questioned the agency's timing and explanation during a heated exchange.
