Company found responsible for O'Donnell garage death to argue for new trial

MILWAUKEE -- A judge is expected to hear new arguments Monday for a new trial in the case of a local teenager who died after a concrete slab fell on him from the O'Donnell Park garage.
In November, a jury ruled that Advance Cast Stone was mostly to blame for Jared Kellner's 2010 death because of a compromised parking deck, and two families were awarded millions in a court settlement.
The company is expected to argue its case for a new trial and also push to have its insurance company pay some of the damages at a motion hearing set for 1:30 p.m. Monday.
