Traffic calming reconstruction project begins on National Avenue
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some people in Milwaukee say they are tired of seeing crashes caused by reckless driving. Thursday a group rallied at 35th and Hope on the city's North Side to help fix the problem.
City leaders and community members will gather near the intersection Thursday afternoon for a "Rally for Safe Streets" event to help stop reckless driving.
The group is working with the "Complete Streets Milwaukee Coalition" to remind drivers to slow down and drive safer.
