Despite some storms it was still a hot weekend in southeast Wisconsin. The high on Saturday reached 90 but the dew point was the highest of the summer at 77. The low Saturday night into Sunday morning only dropped to 80, but the humidity got better Sunday with the dew point dropping from the mid 70s in the morning to mid 50s by the evening. Feels like temps still topped 100* in many communities.
The upcoming work week could be the coolest of the month with highs hovering around average in the upper 70s and low 80s. Through July 19th July is the third warmest on record but with a cooler week we could fall in those rankings. Our next round of heat returns for the weekend with highs back up around 90.
Humidity levels will stay fairly comfortable the next two days in the low to middle 60s. By the end of Tuesday expect some mugginess to return. Wednesday the humidity really returns with peak dew points in the upper 60s.
Download the CBS 568 Ready Weather app to track the heat and humidity and see when that net rain chance arrives.
