Colorful Communities program revitalizes Grand Avenue Club library

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A project hoping to revitalize the Grand Avenue Club in Milwaukee marked completion on Friday.

The Colorful Communities program aims to bring color and vitality to communities across the nation.

More than 20 volunteers from PPG Industries and the Grand Avenue Club spent 15 hours painting and fixing up the club’s library.

The Grand Avenue Club provides employment, housing and educational opportunities to adults with mental illness. It serves 425 people annually.
