Coach Wojo likes his team's depth

At Marquette men's basketball media day, third-year coach Steve Wojciechowski praised his team, calling them the deepest team they've had in his time with the Golden Eagles.

After two straight seasons of no postseason appearances, Coach Wojo wants the team to use that depth to their advantage.

"We have a number of really good players, a lot of interchangeable parts," Wojciechowski said. "We're looking to make depth a strength of ours where we're able to play a lot of guys in a game."

The Golden Eagles return most of their players form last season, but have to replace the production of Henry Ellenson who departed for the NBA's Detroit Pistons. Ellenson averaged 17 points and ten rebounds in his only season at Marquette.
