Coach McCarthy Describes Past Four Weeks as Difficult

The Packers season and their playoff hopes are on the brink of collapse thanks to four straight losses and a two game deficit with just six games to play.

There are two different approaches those on the outside who are ready to make immediate changes in the coaching staff and front office changes that look more likely than ever after the season.

Inside the walls of 1265 Lombardi, McCarthy emphasizes that the packers still have six games to play, and his only focus is getting them ready for the next game a tough one at Philadelphia.

“Definitely, I mean this has been a difficult four weeks, make no question about it. I'm not going to sit here and get into big picture stuff. These last four weeks have not gone the way we'd like, and we're fully aware of the things we need to do better. Just focus on the things we can control. But our process as far as getting ready for the Eagles is the same,” said McCarthy.

The biggest heat has been on the Defense and Coordinator Dom Capers.

The last in-season head coaching change we could find for the Packers happened in 1953.
