The rain over the weekend was light and very scattered with many of us just seeing a few sprinkles or no rain at all. Monday will be a comfy, sunny day with highs into the 70s. Going into the 4th week of September we are well above-average on rainfall after our soaking a week ago. Milwaukee sits at 5.73" of rain for the month well above the average of 1.88".
The next chance for rain arrives Tuesday morning with a cluster of showers and storms rolling across Wisconsin. The exact track of the cluster may vary but the chance of it moving through southeast Wisconsin is increasing. Expect some heavy downpours during the Tuesday morning commute.
All of southeast Wisconsin is in the Level 1 Marginal risk for severe weather for the morning storms. A few downpours, areas of gusty wind or small hail may be possible.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the downpours.
