Clark County judge Lyndsey Brunette launches campaign for 2027 Wisconsin Supreme Court race

Judge Lyndsey Brunette MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Circuit Court Judge Lyndsey Brunette launched her campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court on Thursday, April 16, entering the 2027 race as the liberal-backed candidate.
Brunette has served on the Clark County Circuit Court bench since 2018.
The 2027 election will decide who replaces Justice Annette Ziegler, who has announced she will not seek reelection. Liberals currently hold a 5-2 majority on the state's high court and could expand that to 6-1 with a win in the race.
