City of Milwaukee not enforcing parking regulations night of New Year's Eve

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Most City of Milwaukee government offices will be closed Monday, December 31 and Tuesday,January 1 for the New Year’s holiday.
There will be no garbage or recycling service on Tuesday, January 1. Garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday, December 31. Garbage and recycling carts should be set out on collection day and left in place until serviced.
No parking meter or hourly restrictions will be enforced on Tuesday, January 1. No overnight parking permit enforcement on Monday night into Tuesday morning (January 1 from 2:00-6:00 a.m.), and Tuesday night into Wednesday morning (January 2 from 2:00-6:00 a.m.) Overnight parking permit enforcement resumes on Wednesday night into Thursday morning (January 3 from 2:00-6:00 a.m.)
