Dry start to the new work week before rain and snow chances return
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With the weekend nearly here, people are excited to celebrate one of the city's biggest holidays, St. Patrick's Day.
On Friday, March 14, a group of dancers at the Third Street Market Hall helped city and county officials kick off the holiday weekend.
The overwhelming message at the event was don't be shy! Get out and enjoy everything the city and its partners have to offer.
"If the luck is on our side we're going to have some beautiful weather, I'll be there and I hope you'll be there as well," said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley.
Milwaukee's St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the biggest spring events the city has to offer.
It's one of the oldest of its kind in the country, dating back to 1843.
