City gives $200k to local organization to fight foreclosure crisis

MILWAUKEE-- Mayor Tom Barrett announced today the city will give $200,000 to ACTS Housing so it can continue to help families buy city tax foreclosed homes in the Milwaukee area.


The organization has already sold more than 75 of these homes in the pat 3 years.


The goal is for ACTS to market and sell 35 homes this year and 60 next year.
