TRENTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Christian school is moving into a former strip club. Ozaukee Christian School has been looking for a new location for several years and landed on a former gentleman's club in the Town of Trenton.
The school, which currently operates in Saukville, purchased an old strip mall which used to include Spearmint Rhino Gentleman's Club. That space will be renovated into classrooms, offices, and a cafeteria. They'll also be able to expand and add a gym and new classroom wing.
According to the school, "This is simply a property that had been using men and women in a way that was rather degrading and now we're going to be able to use that property and transform the lives of boys and girls."
The school hopes its new building will be ready for the next school year. They're still looking for donations to help with the purchase and renovations.
