Chilly start to the new work week; next chance for accumulating snow is Tuesday
Similar to Sunday, we could see some flurries flying around during the day on Monday. Eventually we should see a bit more sunshine return, but western counties might end up seeing more sun than lakeside areas. Temperatures Monday will stay chilly with highs only in the 20s. The temperatures will warm up again on Tuesday back to average in the upper 30s. Wednesday and Thursday look a bit chillier in the low 30s before a nice warm day on Friday.
The breeze will stay persistent this week with a NW wind on Monday keeping us chilly then shifting to the SW bringing in some of the warmer air. The wind on Tuesday will be fairly gusty over 30 mph. Wednesday sees the NW breeze return.
The next chance for accumulating snow will roll in Tuesday afternoon and evening. A quick hit of snow will be possible and could make roads a bit slippery for the Tuesday evening commute. Some of the snow could come down at a decently heavy rate. The snow Tuesday should be a bit wetter and more packable.
Snow totals don't look too impressive for Tuesday with most areas just getting a dusting or a tenth. A few northern counties could see up to a half inch.
