Child Support Information Session to take Place in Milwaukee
An information session on child support will take place on Friday in Milwaukee.
“Milwaukee Child Support, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and Milwaukee Job Service will be partnering to offer an informational session, “Child Support 101: Knowing Your Rights,” tomorrow”, Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II said today.
The session will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the YWCA (2nd Floor), 1915 N. Martin Luther King Dr.
Discussion topics at Friday’s session will include: arrears adjustments, knowing your rights, fidelity bonding, work opportunity tax credit, DWD Pipeline Curriculum and joint placement. In addition, the session will go over what happens when the child turns 18.
“This session offers a great opportunity to find out more about your rights as a custodial or non-custodial parent, and to be able to meet one-on-one with a specialist to discuss any questions you have,” Alderman Stamper said.
