MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed a 2-year-old child was shot in the hand near N. 13th and Finn Place on Thursday, Aug. 31. The incident took place at approximately 8:42 p.m.
The child was transported to a hospital with a non-fatal injury.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the investigation is ongoing, however, the incident appears to be related to an argument that occurred in the area prior to the shooting.
Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
