7-year-old Milwaukee boy dies after being pulled from water in Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 7-year-old boy from Milwaukee has died after being pulled from the water at a swimming area in Menomonee Park Wednesday, Aug. 18.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says the child died Wednesday at Children's Wisconsin. 

The case will be investigated in Waukesha County.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities say a child is in the hospital following a water rescue in Menomonee Falls Wednesday, Aug. 18.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. at a swimming area in Menomonee Park.

Fire officials say the minor was pulled from the water prior to their arrival, and CPR was performed.

First responders transported the child to Children's Wisconsin.

The child's condition is not known at this time.
