MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Morhonda Hill made her initial appearance in court on Saturday, Sept. 11.
A judge set her cash bail to $500.
Police say Hill, a 31-year-old Milwaukee woman, disregarded a red light and struck a vehicle, killing a man on Sept. 6.
Hill has a preliminary hearing on Sept. 21.

MILWAUKEE (CBS) -- Charges were filed Friday, Sept. 10, against a woman involved in an fatal accident that occurred near Burleigh and MLK on Sept. 6.
Morhonda S. Hill, a 31-year-old Milwaukee woman, was charged with one count of Homicide By Negligent Operation Of A Vehicle and one count of Knowingly Operate A Motor Vehicle While Revoked - Cause Death Of Another for an incident that killed a man on Sept. 6.
Police officials say Hill disregarded a red light and struck a second vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck, a 51-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained life-threatening injuries. He later died at a hospital.
The criminal complaint indicates that Hill's vehicle was traveling at 41 miles per hour at the approximate moment of the collision.
As a result of the charges, Hill faces upwards of 16 years in prison.
