MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A touring Irish dance production is scheduled to perform in Milwaukee later this month.
Celtic Throne II: Psalter of Ireland is set for Thursday, Jan. 15 at Marcus Performing Arts Center. The production claims to blend Irish dance with live music and theatrical storytelling and features a cast of more than 40 performers.
Dancer and choreographer Jude Flurry joined us on Friday, Jan. 2 to talk about the tour.
The show centers on the legend of Ollav Fola, an ancient Irish figure associated with early law and education. Organizers say the performance incorporates choreography, original music and cinematic-style visuals.
The show is part of a nationwide tour that follows international performances earlier this year.
