What's the best way to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Milwaukee Health Department? How about showing off one of its success stories. Little Rayina is just 4-weeks-old and her family is supported by the health department's award-winning home visiting program. 

A kickoff was held at City Hall for the department's anniversary today. While they celebrated the accomplishments of the past, officials also looked ahead to a new community-generated health initiative. They call it \"Milwaukee Elevate.\"

The Milwaukee Health department was first established on this day in 1867.
