Celebrate National Hamburger Day with Crafty Cow’s $6 burger night special

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Every Wednesday Crafty Cow, has a $6 burger night special. This week, it falls on National Hamburger Day!

Devin Eicher loves to get crafty with his juicy Lucy and smash burgers. Sometimes it’s just onion, tomato and a special sauce. Other times, they’re concocting new specialty sandwiches.

“A bunch of the different stuff that we end up putting on our burgers starts with an ingredient that we really like, or something we have from a different dish, or honestly just messing around in the kitchen trying to come up with something really fun,” said Devin Eicher, the owner of Crafty Cow.

Whether you like it loaded, smashed or plain, Eicher says the patty will be juicy.

He’s known for his sandwiches, both chicken and beef, but he says he always knew a good burger would be on his menu.

“Craft burgers was easy,” said Eicher. “Growing up we were a big burger household, that was my dad’s favorite food so it was kind of natural for me. He’s more of a straight up burger type of person so the adventurous part of it is still a lot of my taste.”

He wants Crafty Cow to hold memories for families and friends, just like a classic hamburger does.

“At the core, Crafty Cow is still about celebrating little moments in life with people you care about,” said Eicher.

$6 Burger night starts at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays. They have three locations: Oconomowoc, Wauwatosa and Bayview.
