Ceiling collapses in child's bedroom at Pleasant Prairie apartment building, no injuries reported

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police responded to a ceiling collapse at an apartment building in Pleasant Prairie Wednesday, Feb. 11. 

Officers responded to the six-unit building near 39th Avenue and 107th Street just before noon. 

According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, the ceiling collapsed into an infant's bedroom. The child was evaluated and uninjured. 

The village building inspector remains at the scene. 

Officials say the building's landlord is helping the affected family with a place to stay.
